MRA Maverick Rifle 308 Win
The MRA Maverik is Canada’s straight-pull, bolt-action, utility rifle. Designed for versatility, the Maverick is well-suited for various activities, including hunting, varmint control, competitive shooting, and recreational shooting. Classified as non-restricted (FRN#197052), it provides owners the freedom to use their rifles in most locations. The Maverick is available as a complete rifle or as a Receiver Kit, enabling owners to build their own non-restricted rifle using our proprietary parts kit along with a wide range of compatible third-party components.
The heart of the Maverick rifle is the innovative and unique straight-pull, spring-assisted, manually operated bolt carrier group. This design is quick and easy to operate, delivering consistent performance with a proven track record of reliability. The charging handle can be effortlessly swapped to either the left or right-hand side, providing versatility for all users.
The Maverick is chambered in 308 Win and 6.5 Creedmoor and offered in barrel lengths of 12.5″, 16.1″ and 19″. Our button cut, ARCOR Nitride hardened barrels are capable of 1 MOA accuracy with quality ammo and boast a proven lifespan of over 30,000 rounds without any loss of precision. These barrels are built to perform and exceed expectations.
The barrels are shrouded in our stylish and lightweight MRA X1 M-LOK handguards, with M-LOK along the length of the 3, 6, and 9 o’clock positions. The MRA X1 handguards also have a QD socket on the left and right and a short picatinny rail at the 12 o’clock position at the muzzle end.
The Maverick rifle’s fire control group, along with other features and furniture, is standard and can be replaced with a range of drop-in parts and accessories widely available on the Canadian market. The Receiver and Bottom Metal are CNC-machined from solid billets of 6061-T6 aluminium, while our handguards are CNC-machined from extruded and laser-inspected 6061-T6 aluminium. All aluminium parts are hardened Type 3 Hardcoat anodizing, and our bolt carriers, bolts, and barrels are all hardened with ARCOR Nitride, ensuring exceptional durability and corrosion resistance.
